The installation time of a pneumatic hoist is affected by multiple factors such as equipment type, operating environment, and preparation status. The installation process is simple in conventional scenarios, but sufficient time needs to be reserved for complex working conditions to ensure installation quality and safety.
Basic installation time: starting from 10 minutes for normal scenarios. For general-purpose pneumatic hoists of 2-20 tons, when the installation conditions are complete (the slide rails are firmly fixed and the air source is ready), two operators can complete the basic installation with the cooperation of two operators. The core process includes fixing the hanging parts, docking the traveling mechanism with the slide rails, connecting the gas distribution system, etc. The whole process takes about 10 minutes. If it is a small and lightweight model (such as 500 kg class), due to its light weight and compact structure, the installation time can be further shortened, and debugging can even be completed in 5-8 minutes with skilled operation. For other types of lifting equipment such as electric hoists, the installation preparation time usually takes more than 30 minutes. In comparison, the installation of pneumatic hoists has more efficiency advantages. Core influencing factors: Three types of situations extend the installation cycle. The first is the equipment specifications and functions. For large-tonnage pneumatic hoists (such as more than 10 tons) or models with traveling mechanisms, additional calibration of the fit between wheels and slide rails and debugging of the traveling drive system is required. The installation time may be extended to more than 30 minutes. If special configurations such as explosion-proof and anti-corrosion are involved, sealing components must be fixed strictly according to special specifications, and the time will increase accordingly. Secondly, there is the operating environment. In restricted scenarios such as underground and narrow spaces, equipment transportation and bolt tightening operations are inconvenient. For example, the installation of large components requires accurate alignment of square timber supports and hydraulic jacks. The installation of a single piece of equipment may take 1-2 hours. Scenarios where high-altitude operations or temporary operating platforms require the construction of temporary operating platforms will also take up extra time due to safety protection preparations. The last step is the preliminary preparation. If the slide rail connection is not firm, the hanging nut is loose and needs to be reinforced first, or the air source pipeline is not laid in advance, it will cause the installation process to be interrupted and extend the overall time.
