# HANN Intelligent @ Pneumatic Hoist
A pneumatic hoist is a type of hoist powered by compressed air. Compressed air drives a pneumatic motor, which in turn drives a reducer, and finally lifts or lowers heavy objects through the hoisting mechanism. It mainly consists of five parts: pneumatic control valve, pneumatic motor, reducer, brake and hoisting device.
All HANN pneumatic hoists feature the following characteristics:

1. Powered by compressed air, it operates spark-free and is explosion-proof, making it suitable for various hazardous areas.
2. Equipped with air failure protection; the load will not drop even if the air supply is suddenly cut off.
3. Overload protection is provided: within the rated operating pressure, it cannot lift loads exceeding the rated capacity.
4. An emergency stop button can be optionally installed on the control handle to prevent injury or damage caused by accidental lifting or lowering.
